Leocciano Callao

A Brooklyn-based sports writer and multimedia journalist. Callao covers the NBA, UFC, and New York City FC in MLS for Fansided. He also served as an editor for Hoops Habit from 2022-2023.

Callao interned at The Brooklyn Paper while studying in the NYC Semester in Journalism program at The King’s College in 2021. He studied Media, Culture, and the Arts at Providence Christian College in Pasadena, California, and played four years of college soccer. He also hosts and produces his own sports show/podcast on Instagram and TikTok called The Final Minute (@thefinalminute_ on Instagram and @LeoCallao92 on TikTok).
